Welcome to guardiana

Me.heif

I'm glad you're here.

This is a space to slow down and listen to your body and to the earth that has always known how to nourish it.

I come to this work as a lifelong student, guided by my mother, Lora, and my grandmother, Ruby, whose wisdom shaped how I see wellness. Through them, I've learned to see symptoms not as problems to silence, but as the body's way of communicating what it needs. My goal is to help you support your own physical, mental, and emotional health, working from the belief that the body knows how to heal; it often just needs support to do what it already knows.

My training reflects that whole-person approach. Alongside my naturopathic training, I'm also certified in yoga, trained in somatic work, and hold a trauma-informed healing certification. I'm here to listen, pay attention alongside you, and walk with you toward balance.

I would also like introduce you to my vision for Guardiana.

It's the name behind everything I do, my naturopathic practice and a small regenerative marketplace, both born out of the life my family and I live. Each year my family and I spend part of our time in Central and South America, where we've built relationships with local healers and herbalists who have generously trained me in their traditions.

I offer whole food products from producers in Peru, Colombia, Guatemala, and Mexico. My vision is to offer plant based medicines that support your body as well as the producers and communities from which they come. I believe that many of our symptoms arise due to a disconnection from meaningful relationships with the earth and our plant and human relatives. I hope to offer you a deeper sense of connection with the world around you as well as to your own body.

The vision of Guardiana extends even deeper, into protecting the ecosystems from which these products come. Guardiana comes from the word guardian. Stingless bees are tiny little bees who, as their name suggests, are unable to sting. These peaceful creatures have long been guardians of their ecosystems, pollinating and sustaining the forests they live in, and now it's our turn to be guardians for them. A portion of the proceeds from your consultation and the products on my website go directly to organizations working to secure rights for stingless bees. Securing rights for the bees means guarding the forests in which they live, the same forests that hold the plants, the producers, and the traditions this work depends on. When you work with me, you become part of that circle of protection too. Browse my website to learn more!
